Microsurgical Reconstruction
Dr Law is a highly trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon with advanced expertise in microsurgery — a specialised technique that uses a microscope to join small blood vessels and nerves using stitches finer than a hair. Microsurgery is often used to help move tissue from one part of the body to another, especially when rebuilding areas affected by trauma, cancer, or previous surgery.
Dr Law brings advanced microsurgical expertise to her practice, refined through a prestigious fellowship at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. She performs microsurgical procedures for:
Breast reconstruction,
Head and neck reconstruction,
Lower limb reconstruction, and
Complex wound management.
Integral to caring for such complex patients, Dr Law is a member of several multidisciplinary teams at St Vincent’s Hospital.
